dari davison ([info]cheergirl) wrote in [info]themouserace,
Dari was pleasantly surprised when Ashleigh returned the kiss. She'd been expecting some form of argument or protest. After all, it wasn't like either of them were gay and they'd never done anything like this before.

Once Ashleigh's hands found their way to her hips, Dari's arms slipped around her middle, pulling at her lower back until their bodies were pushed together. She pulled hungrily at Ashleigh's lower lip as her hands moved up the girl's back, groaning against her mouth.

Years of want were poured into the kiss. Every fantasy, every passing thought about doing this kind of thing was right there behind Dari's actions. There was no way the fact that Dari wanted the girl could be misunderstood or questioned.

Dari knew how horrible watching Ed with the others girls felt for her best friend. She was jealous of the girls Jeremy fooled around with, too, but she knew it had to be worse for Ashleigh. After all, Jeremy wasn't doing anything with anyone else that he didn't do with her, at least. Ed seemed to be oblivious to the fact that Ashleigh was a girl, though. Even though she was starting to move on with Aaron, Dari knew that she felt really undesirable a lot of the time. She might not have been consciously trying to prove otherwise at the moment, but it definitely wouldn't suck if that was the end result.

She couldn't think, she couldn't even really breathe, but she didn't care. She'd wanted to do this for so long and now that she was, now that she'd taken her chance and Ashleigh hadn't just pushed her away, she wasn't likely to stop anytime soon.
