James was a gentleman, but he was still a guy. When Sage pulled him in for a second, much deeper kiss, he couldn't help responding to her.

His lips parted for her tongue of their own accord and he suppressed a groan as that tongue brushed against hers. She did have a nice flavor, even if he'd much rather be kissing Kris, and it was easy to get caught up in kissing her, at least enough that he let her take the lead.
