As far as Ashleigh was concerned, Ed had no reason to apologize. They'd both gotten carried away, after all.

"It's okay," she breathed.

When his tone turned teasing, her blush deepened. She hadn't thought it was possible, but she felt a new wave of warmth wash over her entire body. For as long as she could remember, she'd wanted to hear him say something like that. Now definitely wasn't the time, though.

Rather than responding, she reached for the bottle. It was her turn now. That was great.
