Ashleigh didn't protest when he deepened the embrace. She knew that Ed was waiting for her, but she didn't think it would hurt to spend a few minutes with her boyfriend. Not to mention, she was afraid he would get angry if she pulled away.

Her hand tightened around his as their lips worked together, and a very soft hum built within her chest. She didn't lose herself the way that she had when she had been kissing her best friend, but it should've been obvious that she enjoyed kissing him.

After a few moments, she pulled back and flashed him an almost hesitant smile.

"We're okay?" she questioned.
