Re: MELIA - MELLY - MAGGIE - MELLY - MARK
In all honesty, Melia hadn't wanted to play another round of spin-the-bottle. She'd only agreed because her friends had seemed to be enjoying themselves.
When it was her turn, she began to chew nervously at her bottom lip. What if it landed on another girl? What if that girl didn't give her a chance to spin again? What if it landed on someone she really didn't want to kiss? What if it landed on someone she really did want to kiss? There were so many things that could go wrong.
Once the bottle had been passed to her, she set it on the floor and gave it a firm twist. It spun for several seconds, and when it came to a stop, it was pointing directly at Melly. Again. Melia expected the girl to immediately close the distance between them. When that didn't happen, though, she murmured something of an apology and spun the bottle a second time. This time, when it came to a stop, it was pointing at Maggie. Melia thought that Maggie was very, very pretty, but she wasn't into girls. She didn't want to kiss her. Most of the girls at this party acted like they would kiss anyone, but she'd never been like most girls. After murmuring yet another apology, she spun the bottle a third time. It landed on Melly. Again. A deep blush washed over her features when the blonde made a comment, but she merely shook her head and gave the bottle yet another twist. The bottle skidded a couple of inches away as it spun in tight spirals, and when it finally came to a stop, it was pointing at..
Her eyes widened in absolute horror, and she shook her head very slightly. This wasn't happening. This… she couldn't kiss him. She'd seen how he'd basically attacked Ashleigh. She wasn't ready for that. She didn't think she would ever be ready for that.
