"Not bad, Turner," Dari said just loud enough for everyone else to hear when she pulled out of the kiss a moment later. James definitely wasn't a bad kisser. He was no Jeremy, of course, but Dari had certainly enjoyed kissing him, however briefly.

She gave him another flirty wink as she slid back across the circle and settled herself in her seat between Ashleigh and Jeremy.
