Melly was really just excited about the social aspects of school. Classes and homework weren't nearly as fun, but cheerleading and friends and football games and things were a lot more exciting for her. She'd hung out with Abbie over the summer, of course, but it was great to see her other friends and catch up on things.
Melly laughed at Gage's greeting and shook her head. "Not much. First day of school and all." She grinned at him then. Gage was definitely one of those people she was glad to see now that school was back in session.
"You going to Dari's party tomorrow night?" she asked.
