Ah laughter... Definitely one of the results that Gage was going for. It was always good when he could make a friend laugh and it was something he would definitely find use for as the year wore on. He had a feeling that he might need to make himself and Ryan laugh a lot though if they got into trouble (which was probably a given). Either way it was an enjoyable thing and that was really all that mattered.
"The dreaded first day. Did you get a lot of homework?" He wanted to find out if there were any teachers at their school that could be so cruel or if such things were just myths. Most of his classes had done nothing but go over the syllabus and talk about what they would be learning and then left them to it.
"Uh... Duh," he replied with a grin, giving her a look. "That should be the most obvious thing in the world. If there is going to be a party then I'm going to make my presence known." And he was quite good at making his presence known. "And of course you'll be there."
