Maaka Karin is from Chibi Vampire (aka Karin). She's from the manga timeline after her Grandma, Elder Marker, woke up for the first time and found out she was dating Usui Kenta and went back to sleep. She is aware of her lack of vampirical powers and will often consider herself a freak.

Karin works as a maid at the Inn. She also lives there with her Grandmother. Their room is distinctive because it has extremely black curtains that don't let in any light always drawn during the day.
Karin notably is under the impression (from Misa) that her boyfriend now hates her and has moved on. She's also bit Lelouch and made him into a temporarily happy person. And had nosebleeds on several people. Shadow Link has a crush on her.
