I'm personally all for having some overlaying plot. I know our public events help with that a bit (the Zombie thing did involve a lot of different people interacting).
I don't mind Xemnas having a magic book and turning him into an NPC to put in plot devices. I think the issue isn't KH cannon anymore as much as it is RP cannon. We've already strayed from the KH cannon and made there be several eateries, more rooms at the Inn, the Item Shop sells bullets, a gun shop in the second district, a market, the combining of worlds through the big door in the first district, excreta- what's one more?
I think that it isn't right to give Xemnas the character played by a single person an item, but if he was a mod NPC, I would totally not mind.
Ah, anyways, that's my two cents about that.
As for a plot, I mentioned before that Agatha has the Other inside of her. Perhaps we could release her out for a bit where she started building some really huge mechanical monstrosities and tried to take over the town, only to thwarted after a long, hard fight where people find some unexpected allies?
She can also alter biological creatures and make those into monsters too. So if we want mutant cows that eat people's hair, we can totally have them.
Also, mods willing, she could alter and 'level up' some of the heartless in town to make things a bit more interesting~
I dunno, I think I big enemy attack where lots of people get kidnapped and almost turned into science experiments would work nicely. Or if their muns were willing, actually turned into science experiments, permanently altering an aspect of that character.
...I think I'll stop talking now and let people reply.
