LUDO
UGH!

This boy was going to seriosuly be in a lot of pain if he was trying to mess with her best friend. He knew that she had a complicated relationship with Ralph! That wasn't fair! He wasn't allowed to just go around kissing people like that, because that was totally messed up! She had been with Miranda when she was crying and upset, and really really pissed off at Ralph, and now that Ludo was just going around kissing her, she wanted to scream because...ugh, Miranda had a way of attracting jerks.

Not that she always thought that Ralph was a jerk, but recently he was a big one. And so was Ludo. But Ludo was usually a jerk, so this wasn't much of a surprise.

Looking around, Gillian sneaked into the empty classroom where she had told Ludo to meet her, pacing around with her arms crossed over her chest, only looking to the door when the blonde walked in. "Sit." She placed one hand on her hip as she pointed to a nearby desk with her other, taking her own seat ontop of the teachers desk at the front of the room.

"Now talk. Explain. Give me a reason to not punch you in the neck."

First of all, Ludo Bagman was not a dog and he did not sit on command. Instead, he stood next to the desk, arms crossed similarly to hers. Really, he'd had enough of girls for one day--Miranda came and went as quick as a tornado that afternoon and he wasn't sure how to react to this on top of all that. He sighed, "I think she owes a bit of an explanation to me as well, but fine. You want me to talk?" He sighed, running his fingers through his hair. "I fancy her. I've fancied her since we got into a row back in October. And...I don't know, it just happened. She was there and she..." he shook his head, suddenly deciding that he didn't owe Gillian Rosmerta a damn thing.

Gillian frowned, staring down at her lap as he admitted that he actually liked Miranda. Whoa. He had liked her for months. She heaved a heavy sigh, and placed her hands on either side of her, resting on the desk as her legs crossed at ankle as she swung them back and forth, staring at her thighs. "Damn it, I was so prepared to yell and scream at you for kissing her for no apparent reason at all, but no, you have to go and tell me that you fancy her..." she looked back up at him. "I still do want to punch you in the neck though, so don't think I'm letting you off that easily." Shifting a little bit, she moved back more onto the desk so she could get more comfortable. "Miranda's my best friend. I've known her since we were like...2. And it's my job as her best friend to look out for her. And a lot of bad things have been happening to her, and she's been really really upset lately, and then you have to go and kiss her and now she's upset again, and...you can't just go around randomly kissing people without like...warning them. Well, not that you were supposed to say 'Hey, I'm going to kiss you now, be prepared!', but you go for so long without giving anyone the impression that you have feelings for her and then all of a sudden you do...that! With the kissing!"

Ludo huffed. "Well, I'm glad she's got a whole slew of...of birds watching out for her," he replied, feeling very grouchy and put off by the entire situation. "I've been nice to her the entire time, and I've given her space because she was with Merridew. What the hell was I supposed to do, run up to her and declare my undying affections for her, just so he could punch me? Bloody hell," he replied before shaking his head.

"And I hardly doubt she told you, but she wasn't fighting it. She wanted that sodding kiss just as much as I did, even if she won't admit that to you. She didn't pull away from it, she didn't do anything but reciprocate and then get her skirt in a bunch after it was all said and done." As far as Ludo was concerned, he was not entirely at fault here. It took two to tango, and Miranda had done her fair share of dancing.

"Hey! She doesn't have a whole...slew of brids watching out for her! And even if she did it's because we care about her so just...be quiet." Gillian didn't really want to be there, sitting in the empty classroom either. Expecially because now she knew that she really couldn't hit him as hard as she had wanted to when she planned to talk him. "And, no, you weren't supposed to...declare anything, but you could have at least been a little less...sudden, or something. Like, you could have at least talked to her about your, well, okay well not undying affections, but your feelings or something, because talking usually comes before the whole kissing part..."

Gillian found herself frowning once again as he explained how she had returned the kiss. Which was true. Which sucked, because she really couldn't put all the blame on him like she wanted to. Damn it, he ruined all her plans. "As a matter of fact, she did tell me. But you know she's still trying to get over Ralph, and I'm not saying you were a rebound or anything because I think it'd have to be more than just one kiss for you to be concidered a rebound, but she's really just confused about her feelings, and she was in love with Ralph, and you have to understand that...and I get that she returned the kiss which makes things really really confusing, but I don't think she kissed you back because of who you are, but I think it was more because of who you aren't...which is Ralph." Oh, crap, she was actually starting to feel bad for Ludo because he actually liked Miranda and Miranda was still in love with Ralph and...

"Maybe...maybe you were both wrong for different reasons. Because she shouldn't have lead you on by kissing you back, but you really shouldn't have just sprung that on her when she's all...depressed and such."

"No, I didn't know she was still trying to get over Ralph. Merlin's beard, how long does it take to get over someone who was a huge arse?" Ludo sighed as Gillian rambled on and on about how he wasn't...well, he wasn't Ralph. Apparently that was the only requirement for kissing Miranda sans whistles and bells here.

Ludo leaned against the desk, crossing his arms across his chest. "Are we done with the inquisitorial squad routine? Because if you've properly finished deflating my ego, I'd like to go and do something productive." Of course Miranda was still caught up on Ralph, and of course she wouldn't actually return affection for him. She was all depressed and in a bad state? What about him? He had to deal with all this bloody nonsense, too. And he wasn't the one sending out his mum to clean up the mess, either. Bullocks. No woman was worth this much fuss.

Gillian couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at the supposed 'jab' at Ralph, thinking that it was more something a girl would say about another girl than a guy would say about, well, another guy. It just didn't sound normal to her, but she'd just shrug it off and sigh. "Well, she is..."

Her eyes narrowed once again, as her arms crossing over her chest. "Yeah, well, somebody had to. If your head was any bigger you probably wouldn't be able to walk through the bloody door." After she said this she felt guilty and rolled her eyes at the little voice in her head that was telling her that she was maybe a little bit harsh? Even though she meant what she had said. "Look, I'm sorry. Just...be careful around Miranda. I can't tell you what to do, or what not to do, but if you care about her at all you'll just...try to keep your mouth to yourself?" She furrowed her brows at how strange that sounded, even to her. But, with a light shake of her head, she tried to forget about the awkward statement.

Hopping off of the desk, she adjusted her shirt and walked over to Ludo. "Listen, you're not a bad guy...sometimes. When you're not acting like an egotistical prat. And I'm sorry that you like Miranda so much, but really, you need to work on your communication skills. That counts as productive, right?" She gave him a small smirk before she turned to head towards the door.

"I'm so glad that all of this is my fucking fault. No one else is ever at blame for shit, it's always..." Ludo sighed. "You know what, I'm over this. Tell Miranda that she won't have to worry about me being around anymore, because her handling of this entire situation...I'm over it. Done." Ludo brushed past Gillian to get out of the room as fast as he could. He didn't want to be there, he didn't want to be anywhere near her or Miranda or anyone for a long long time. Happy Fucking Valentine's to him. Maybe he'd just...quit the bloody play. He certainly wouldn't have to put up with Miranda and her....whatever it was that she had.
