the adventurous nicodemo a. penrose ([info]otets) wrote in [info]valesco,
Amery frowned. The stealth level of this operation was practically nonexistent, and the entire organization was sure to be a mess of Dumbledore's people and members of their own. Not to Amery's taste, but he didn't find himself stirred enough to raise protestations.

In terms of distracting however, he was left with few options. The least hassling of which was to simply remove any people he came across in his sweeping of the hallways from the equation, so to speak. No body trail, however, being that this was neither the time nor the place, but the more people put out of commission, the less chance more opponents could be summoned.

He'd already disposed of a nurse, not having come across many people in the darkening halls, but Amery was rapidly approaching a Healer carrying an armload of potions, appearing so distracted as to not even see Amery. Maneuvering himself directly into this man's oncoming path, the open bottles spilled onto the shoulder and front of his robes, sparks and steaming ensuing.

"Did anyone ever teach the rudiments of potion safety," Amery snarled, the potions actually causing a slight bit of discomfort. "What idiotic Healer walks about with an armload of open potions, not even paying attention to where he's going?"
