Fabian Prewett ([info]fabulously_fab) wrote in [info]valesco,
Fabian carefully moved around through the first floor of St.Mungo's, which took care of Creature-Induced Injuries, trying his best to keep his identity hidden. It was rather inconvenient, to have your face plastered on magazine covers whenever you had to try and sneak around to save the bloody world from Death Eater scum. He had on a hooded sweatshirt, and had debated on putting on sunglasses or something else that would hide his face, but figured that'd probably draw more attention. His hands were shoved into the pocket of the sweatshirt, his hand gripping onto the wand that was stored there. Some of the interns would glance in his direction, but he just focused down on the floor.

Turning a corner, he looked over his shoulder to make sure that the coast was clear before slipping into a small little area where he was hidden by a wall, pointing his wand at the stairway entrance. His mouth moved as he muttered the spell that would cast a barrier on said door, and once he was sure that it was cast, he slipped the wand back into his pocket. “Three down…two to go.” He sighed heavily, knowing that there was another stairway entrance as well as another set of elevators on the other side of that floor. There were 6 elevator sections all together, as well as 4 stairway entrances, but he was only in charge of half of them. He hadn’t paid much attention to who was taking care of the other 5, because he was so focused on not being recognized. He had opted to not go with an invisibility cloak, if only for the fact that the first floor was extremely crowded, seeing how they had to go through there to get to the other floors, and would probably accidentally wind up bumping into someone, which would cause mass amounts of confusion. It probably wasn’t a very good idea, putting a famous Quidditch player down there, but he didn’t want to let that stop him. It was times like these that he regretted his career choice, even if it was what he loved to do.

Stepping out from his little hiding spot, he looked back to the stairway entrance he had just blocked off, and then looked ahead, catching himself just in time before he collided with someone. “Whoa!” Fabian let out, coming to a very abrupt halt. His words seemed to have caught the other person’s attention, causing them to stop as well. “…that was close.”
