"Your--presents--I brought--presents," Archie whispered, one hand gesturing vaguely to the table behind them. No, did he really just tell her he bought her presents after she had told him that?
"I mean!" he said, panic rising in his voice as he attempted to snap out of his stupefied stupor. "W-w-w-when did you find out...?
