"Actually, I had planned on carrying around a kid for nine months, but if you want a lug nut, I'm sure I'll be able to figure something out." A grin was given, followed by a giggle. Perhaps not the time to joke, but still. Breaking the mold, she leaned up and placed a soft kiss on his lips.
"Have I mentioned how badly I wanted to have a kid with you? And how damned cute it'll be?" A smirk was given and she ran her hand through his hair lovingly. They would be great parents, she could tell already. He was fun and loving and easy going, and she was caring and sweet, sometimes, and knew all the ways she wanted to raise a child. There would be no doubt that if there was an award for parents of the year, they would get it within the first five years of their kids life. Easily.
But there was no award, was there? There was only them, in love, ready to make a kid. Or, in Tim's mind, some lug nut or screw or washer. Whatever he wanted.
