"I don't know," Drystan replied, stressing the last syllable. He had just said that, hadn't he? It wasn't his fault if the guy wasn't on-top of it enough to remember the words that had literally come out of his mouth ten seconds ago. If this was what Odette was frustrated over, she was clearly in the right. His irritation was just an uncomfortable prickling feeling, somewhere deep down, but for unflappable Drystan, it was irritating enough. He had no issue to skirt around, but if Noah was tiptoeing around, it had to be for a reason. If he was so intent on being unpleasant, that suited Drystan just fine, but there was no need to have that attitude with him. Maybe if Drystan brought up the unlikely (very unlikely) theory that might be plaguing Boot, he could finally move on.
