Frank was unpleasantly surprised at how many people were actually here, willing to even skit with the idea of joining the Order. Of course, all of them had not the slightest idea what it truly meant by being here now (they didn't two years ago...), so, he hoped Dumbledore would at least give a fear-evoking speech that would be able at scare off a few people.
Not that the Headmaster would: 'drinks were being served.'
Or that any of the people would be scared into doing nothing in these times, but Frank had his hopes. Lots of people refused to join and stay neutral, it was possible. The sad reality was that the Order needed help. They needed more people. The group was gasping for air at this point, the only answer being bringing in fresh blood that hadn't been constantly pummeled for the past two years.
He kept his arms crossed over his chest as he watched people trickle into the pub one by one, opting to stare at them before they had a chance to make it the other way around. James was slumped behind him in a booth, but Frank had resolutely decided to stand, leaning on the side of the booth, much more than sit.
Though now the place was starting to get relatively full, and Dumbeldore has spoken to them concerning the importance of mingling. Mingling. Was he serious? As much as Frank hated the idea, one person so far stood out as very important to get on board the new Order train.
And he wasn't going to lie, having another Auror would make it much easier on him, not to mention Alice. Frank wasn't surprised that Avis had shown up: how could she pass up something as... interesting as this? Well. He sat down at her table, giving a slight nod of the head. This should be interesting.
