"No she's not!" Chandler retorted immediately, pulling the basket forward to rest between them. "It's going to be great, because you made it for her!"
Oh, he meant that in so many different ways, but it would be smart to clarify before Wendy got the wrong idea. Or the right idea? Chandler had no idea what was going on. Well he did, but he didn't want Wendy to, because she was obviously very happy with the fact that they were friends, and that they could be comfortable around each other without any awkwardness. Not that Chandler ever made people feel awkward outside of himself, but.
"I mean to say---you're her best friend, and she'll appreciate any sort of effort. Any mother would love a showcase of their child, I would think." Chandler smiled calmly, pulling out a sheet of rather glittery paper. "And you're quite creative, so I'm sure it'll be a brilliant book!" His other hand dove in and he began pulling out ribbon and rhinestones (rhinestones?), placing them on the paper to get an idea of what it may look like. Oh, dear. Maybe he should let Wendy be the artistic one, here.
"Er, well---you'll do a better job than me," he admitted, feeling the flush go up his neck. "I would probably just...I don't even know what I would do!"
