"Oh, well, I'm glad you told me," Zach said, not sure what else to say to that, but Brianna looked kind of sad so he moved across the kitchen to stand next to her and looked down at her with a slight shrug. Now that he knew she wasn't going to hit him or something, it was safe to get closer. His thoughts had pretty much stalled on one point. Baby. They were having a baby.
So, he hadn't thought it would happen like this and he was pretty sure that his parents would have thought he would be married before then but, who cared? They were together (and probably should move in at some point) and that is what mattered right? Oddly, Zach wasn't terrified by this prospect. If Bertram could have a kid, well, why couldn't he?
Zach's grin started slowly and he bumped his arm against Brianna's shoulder, looking a her as his grin got a little bigger. "We're gonna have a kid!"
