brier stebbins :: solicitor ([info]brighten) wrote in [info]valesco,
Brier had been in his office when things started rattling off his shelf and he'd watched Rory's picture work itself off his desk before the shock of the earthquake hit. Ducking under his desk, Brier managed to stay there as the ceiling fell down on his desk and chair. When it seemed things had stopped, he made his way out to the central part of the office, looking around for people. Brier knew he needed to get down to Rory and check on him, but right now he wanted to know what was going on. Noticing Bess and Phoebe, he made his way over the debris to them, his eyes going wide at the blood on Bess's face and what was the mess of Phoebe's legs.

"Oh, Circe mother of Merlin," he said dropping to his knees and pulling his robes off to help cover Phoebe's body - if she was losing blood she needed to be kept warm. He grabbed his belt and tugged it out, wrapping it around the higher part of Phoebe's left thigh, "Bess, I need, we need another one. Do you have a belt or rope or something, we have to make her stop bleeding. What happened?"
