She couldn't stop shaking. Her hands, her legs, her arms, everything was shaking, she was trembling. Rebecca had never felt like this in her life, it was terrible, it was---what was it? Finally managing to bring her hands down from around her head, Rebecca looked down at her robes and saw that the neon green was a much darker shade than it was supposed to be. Right above her shoulder, it was wet, and oh Christ it was blood. Rebecca had been getting used to blood on her robes, but that was patients' blood. Not---her blood was seeping through her robes.
Rebecca whimpered as she realized a hook from the coat hanger was jutting through the fabric, and she took a deep breath, trying not to panic more than she already was. She couldn't even see Euan in the dust, but she couldn't find her voice and hoped to everything that he'd hear her shuddering breaths.
