Alice's eyes shut at the tone of his voice, but she remained stiff and seated. No, she was not going to let him yell at her, or allow his words to hurt. She had been trying to prepare herself for this version of Frank she'd never seen before, but it had proven difficult. Alice had...she'd seen Frank at his very lowest, but she hadn't seen where his anger could truly take him. She knew Frank was angry, angry at a lot of things, and she couldn't blame him. At the same time, however...her entire being was made out of hope and love for Frank Longbottom, so expecting him to be more than perfect was hard to dismiss.

Her head dropped, eyes still shut as she started her attempt to avoid her husband's eyes for as long as possible. It felt like a terrible thing to reach for, but she did not feel strong enough to handle the glare she knew was coming out of Frank's eyes.

"You were going to kill him," Alice stated. She'd mulled it over all night; there was no way Frank would have let Jugson out of that fight alive.
