If they could have snogged in the corridors of Hogwarts without him getting his hair hexed off (and probably more delicate parts of him!) Sebastian would have made sure it would have been like this. Every. Time. It wouldn't have been about showing off that he had somehow gotten Mackenzie Loftus to fall in love with him (though, admittedly, that would be a teensy part of it), oh, no. Sebastian was, at heart, a hopeless romantic. It wasn't a very surprising or unheard of description of himself, but it was true, and he would have wanted everyone in Hogwarts to see how much he loved that girl--this woman by snogging her completely senseless.
It was how teenage boys thought, all right?
This was just as good as Hogwarts, though. He had enjoyed their secret meetings during their school days. If someone caught them now, they would roll their eyes and assume they'd just had too much to drink. Ah, if it was only that easy to explain. It was strange how being forced to lay low and basically hide for a few weeks could change the entire dynamic of a relationship. Sebastian felt like they were newlyweds again---earlier than newlyweds! It was like they had no worries in the world, and he prayed that this lasted for more than the night.
Through the kissing and the fog his mind was currently in (a Mackenzie induced fog was always the best kind of fog), Sebastian heard the countdown to midnight begin. His grip around his wife didn't loosen, but his lips moved from hers to travel along her jawline, "What's your resolution?"
