"Oh yes, I am sure that they must be." Truthfully, he knew that Ophelia would become immediately suspicious if she realized that he was gone for too long. He furrowed his brows at Amery and nodded to a nearby empty room. If he had to do what he thought he was going to, he wanted privacy.
Once they were in the room and Grayson had maneuvered himself in a way that allowed him to block most of the door, he glanced to Amery again and crossed his arms over his chest. He didn't want to believe the things that he was thinking about Amery, but he couldn't just ignore them any longer.
"You've been nervous lately, Amery." He was already feeling anxiety building up in his own chest, fear that his brother had changed too much to be healthy.
