This -- at least this was familiar to her. She furrowed her brows slightly when he moved back, but tried not to be too offended -- at least he was trying to be nice and he hadn't turned and run in the other direction yet.
"I -- yes, I think that we were." She'd joined mostly to improve her Charms, and by the end of her fifth year she'd succeeded, more or less. And it certainly didn't have anything to do with Galvin Gudgeon being there, no. That would be ridiculous.
"Things were so much easier in school," she said with a sigh, leaning her elbows onto the countertop while Vinny cleaned himself up. "It sounds silly to want things to be easy again, doesn't it? I mean, we're supposed to be adults." But being a grown-up sucked, honestly.
