miranda!!
"So where is this place again?" Moses asked trailing behind his sister.  "We've been walking for ages."  But they really hadn't been, maybe for five minutes.  "And I'm hungry and I want to know all about what I missed.  And what you've been up to, and how is Ralph.   And all these other things that should be discussed while sitting.  And preferably eating."   he whined playfully poking his sister in the shoulder a couple of times.  It was rather fun acting like an obnoxious younger brother.  "And then I can tell you all about my adventures in Scandinavia.  You wouldn't think there would be much cursebreaking to do there, but you'd be wrong.  Except not.  It was rather boring."

Moses frowned slightly when he realize he was the one doing all rambling and talking, and usually Miranda was way ahead of him.  And she was being quiet.  Well not quiet but she certainly was letting him win in the talking department, which was unusual.  "Hey you.  What's up?"  he said nudging his shoulder into hers, taking a slightly more serious tone.

Miranda liked to hear her brother talk. She liked to hear all her brothers talk, really! Their stories always fascinated her, and yes, while she could talk a mile a minute, she hadn't felt the need to in months. Talking usually meant discussing, lately, and Miranda couldn't do much discussing without feeling tired and sad, so. She had just spent the night with Greta at St. Mungo's and was grateful for Ralph and the other Gryffindor's presence, but---it was an all too familiar scene that had drained her completely. All of the 1979 Gryffindors had been together at St. Mungo's just a month earlier, when Gillian had been found, dead.

It was still hard to accept that her best friend was never going to talk to her again, and Miranda had made it a point to ignore any sort of conversation or situation that might make her think about the fact.

She smiled at Moses however and leaned back into him as he nudged her. Miranda had missed her brother terribly; it had been a rough year, and since she'd moved into her flat with Greta, and Augie had been born, she had not had the time to be with her brothers like she used to. They had always been close so they weren't feeling like strangers, but. Miranda had never had any secrets from her brothers, and now her whole life was one.

"Oh, you know." They were seated and Miranda shrugged, pulling her hair back, "The world sucks. Can't really say it any better than that."
