Despite her determination to convince herself that she had not cleaned up for his benefit, Juliana couldn't help but smirk inwardly as she watched him admiring her appearance. Well, he was a man, after all, and who had she been to ever say no to the attentions of a man?
She allowed herself to bask a bit in the pleasure of the situation as the elf took her coat, knowing that such a moment was not going to last long. He may have been a man--boy, she corrected herself--but he was still her fiancé, and that meant that good moods would not last long.
Jules nodded in response to his question and made her way into the room Orpheus had indicated, glancing over the arrangement of alcohol thoughtfully. She could still redeem her mistake from before and make a bad impression by choosing something thoroughly unladylike, something hard that she might get at a club or bar when she was out partying with friends, but... No, no, alcohol had its cons, the most pronounced being that being inebriated around him put her at a disadvantage. No, she would have something small and refined. There would be other opportunities to offend him, did she wish to take them.
"I'll just have a cosmopolitan."
