Orpheus wasn't sure what Juliana was going to ask him for, but somehow she still managed to surprise him. Taking down a martini glass from the wall, Orpheus thoughtfully began to make her drink. Mixing cocktails was like cooking, he mused, pouring the vodka. Except men always tended to get slack for cooking, while when alcohol was involved, a man was said to be urbane and cultured - next came the Triple Sec. He added just enough cranberry to make the liquid a lovely shade of pink before tossing two lime slices into the tumbler. After he'd added the ice, he turned toward Juliana while shaking it up.
"So how was work?" he asked, a small smile playing on his lips. He could do this, pretend things were going okay, play the part of the kind and interested husband man. He took the glass from beside him and strained her drink into it. "More lime?"
