Who: Jordans, duh
When: In the morning today
What: Andre Jordan is not sick.

Andre should of know that there was something wrong when he slept through his alarm and Adelaide getting up. And if that didn't give him a clue, the fact that Addy didn't bother to wake him should have. Glancing at the clock, he saw that he had just enough time to get ready for work and still get there on time. He pulled out his summer healer robes form the back of the closet. Just when had it gotten so damn hot? And if he was honest with himself he would of admitted that, yes he did feel like shit and all he really wanted to do was crawl right back into bed. But then all that would lead to the absurd conclusion that he was sick. And Andre Jordan did not get sick.

Andre was sick.

Adelaide could tell, she could just tell. He was a bit sweaty, and when she'd put her cheek to his forehead (even after all these years as a healer, things her mother did still took over when she was being 'motherly'; yes, hard concept to believe) he had a slight fever. So, she let him sleep. Adelaide knew his schedule by heart, she'd have his interns take over until Andre came in and, if Cervantes had anything to say about that? Well, she'd just knock his handsome arse back to Portugal.

Whatever.

She heard rustling, and Adelaide poked her head back into the room, "Oh, oh no," she said stiffly, "Take those off and get into bed. And, no, this is not my naughty talk."

Andre raised a brow and looked at her confused. "I have to be at work shortly, just like you do." he said, quickly realizing how raw his voice sounded. This would not help his cause very much. And the way his wife was looking at him clearly said that it wasn't going to be easy getting out of the house. "I feel just fine, and I'm already to go anyways so..." he trailed of shrugging. That action some how launched him into a coughing fit, that even he couldn't deny sounded awful.

He glanced at her from the corner of his eyes. "Just got a little something in my throat. I'm fine" Andre had never taken a sick day before and he sure as hell wasn't going to start now. Whatever this was it would pass shortly. He was most definitely not sick

Adelaide sighed and came further into the room, pulling out her wand and twirling it a few times, making sure her husband could see how fast she could move it. Honestly, honestly? He was trying to argue with her? Seriously?

"Now, Andre, darling," she started, circling him as he finished his little protest. The dear, thinking he'd be able to convince her. Was he trying to say he thought she was stupid? Ha, really wasn't going to work. "If you don't get back into bed, I am going to tie you to it. And I am going to gag you so you can't call for help, and I am going to stick your wand somewhere you won't be happy with."

She stopped in front of him, putting the tip of her wand to his chest. Adelaide knew she'd never hex Andre, but he didn't have to.

"And, no, this isn't my naughty talk either."

Andre just backed up and sat down on the bed when Adelaide approached him twirling her wand. She was totally taking an unfair advantage. He crossed his arms over his chest and mumbled something under his breathe. "Fine." he finally muttered not looking up at her. He hated it when she won. Well not really. He just hated when he lost. "But you're getting all my interns. And they are all a pain in the arse too."

He knew that didn't mean much to her. She wouldn't take shit for them and he almost felt sorry for his interns than he was handing them over to Addy til he got better. Almost. He knew she would be annoyed that she had twice as many interns to look after. Adelaide annoyed with the interns was always amusing, he was disappointed that he would miss it. Finally giving in to the tiredness he felt he laid down. "Give 'em hell for me."
