"I was not--" Mira started, her tone quickly changing to a low hiss. Her body tensed as she looked up at him, and for a brief moment her chin stuck out in a defiant manner. But as quickly as the flash of a challenge filled her eyes, it disappeared. It was obvious that this was a sore spot for Seth, and Mira knew that--- so she would stay calm. For the time being.
Pulling back, she recomposed herself. Arms moving across her chest, she pushed any aggressive feelings down to control herself. She could be mature, even if he wasn't capable of being so at the time. And while it was very easy to forget sometimes, Seth would always be a Gryffindor at heart, just as she would always be a Slytherin at heart. He would not rile her up and make her upset about something that wasn't happening. Or at least wouldn't turn into something else. It was just the way that she and Charlie treated each other!
"You are blowing this out of proportion," Mira said coldly, waiting until Seth finished before she spoke. At the very least, she had to conserve her anger for the right time to use it. Now, at the beginning of what looked like could turn into their first real fight, was not the time to strike.
"I am only going to say this once," she warned, keeping still as she locked an intense gaze with him. Just because he didn't seem to remember that they were in a public setting didn't mean that she would. "I am not blatantly flirting with anyone. I am not taunting you. Nothing is happening, nothing will ever happen. If you feel it is absolutely necessary to start hanging all over your ex wife to get revenge, then see how far that takes you. Now, if you will excuse me---" She had some stomping of the ground to do.
