Jonathan!
Edgar was getting married! Oh, she still couldn't believe it (mostly because they were both so young, but! Love knew no boundaries, Megan liked to tell herself), and she'd been having far too much fun helping Mrs. Bones with things, along with meeting Gillian's parents, and, just---sigh. It was really nice. Megan was a natural planner, it was one of the things that made her a good teacher, so she of course volunteered her services! How couldn't she? Edgar was as good as her little brother (though she'd never say anything like that to Macon, even though he'd probably understand, but still. Merlin), and that meant Gillian would be like a sister, and, yes.

She had to help.

And it was next week. Exactly! Megan closed her journal with a snap and flounced to the kitchen, looking for the sprinkles to send to Amelia. It must be that time of the month---sometimes Megan could eat pudding and popcorn when that rolled around, so. She completely understood Amelia's cravings.

"Jonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnathan," she called, frowning at the lack of St. Patrick's sprinkles. They should be sitting right between the Valentine's and Easter ones, but, there were nowhere to be seen. Her hands tugged her up a bit to look further into the cabinet, and Megan leaned back to call through the house again, "Jooooooooooooooonathaaaaaaaaaan!"

Jonathan poked his head out of the garage, blinking a little as the dust fell from his hair. He let out a little squeak and pulled his head back in, quickly brandishing his wand to clean his little mess up and then turned his wand on himself, making sure that he was clean enough to go into the house and not get yelled at. He didn't know where all the dust came from but it was probably because it was the only place in the house Megan never cleaned because it was 'boy land' or something.

"Yes my stunning and most beautiful love of my life?" Jonathan said in a singsong voice as he came into the kitchen, wiping his hands on a dirty rag. He raised his eyebrows at Megan with a boyish and innocent smile. He had no idea what she wanted, and he was in a playful mood. It couldn't hurt to be sweet, could it?

Megan's eyebrows rose at his good-natured mood, and she smiled curiously, dropping down from her tiptoes to wave up at the St. Patrick sprinkles-less cabinet. She was 99% sure she didn't take them to school, because the St. Patrick's celebration was on Monday, and she would bring all the preparations on Friday, meaning she'd pack them Thursday night, so...

"Have you see my green sprinkles?" she asked, nose scrunched because it was an odd question to ask and...he was wearing those jeans again. Megan's head dropped, chin nearly reaching her collar bone in an utterly baffled expression. She let out a breath and crossed over to him, fingers looping swiftly through the pair of ragged old jeans she'd sworn she'd banished to the rubbish bin two weeks ago.

"Honestly?" she didn't even have to explain her question, Megan was quite sure Jonathan knew what she was asking about.

"Sprinkles...oh yes. They are in my Edgar-Is-Getting-Married-Basket-of-Goodies," Jonathan nodded. They were having a stag night ON St. Patrick's day, there was definitely a use for them, even if he didn't know quite yet what for. It seemed like a good idea. "Why? I figure we won't use them all. Do you need them, because I have to go get them, I can't let you see the contents of our basket," Jonathan gave her a cheeky grin and put his hands on his hips.

He looked down at Megan's hand and lost his smile, just slightly and shrugged. Megan had thrown them out two weeks ago, and months before that. He just liked them! They fit well, and even if one of the back pockets was nearly falling off. They were comfortable, even if they were ratty. "What? You know you like them!"

"Ohhh," Megan said with a sagely nod, as if she truly understood what went on at a stag night. She didn't mind it, because she trusted Jonathan not to do anything stupid, but when boys got together in large groups, their intelligence level drops significantly. But, she couldn't say much, as Gillian's blonde first had sent over an invite to her hen party this weekend, so, "Oh, well then, I'll have to substitute Amelia's for Easter."

Those silly jeans. They had been cute, a nice fit, but that had been nearly---Merlin, they had to be almost three years old. Honestly, with how many times its been through the wash, Megan was sure it should have fallen apart by now, but she had the feeling Jonathan had learned a few mending spells just to keep them together.

"I did, when they weren't giving everyone a clear shot of your boxers," Megan commented, hands going around his waist to pat the exposed area.

"If you need them I can get them, I don't want to disrupt Amelia's anything. Is she actually cooking something? Do we get some?" Jonathan leaned forward a little to look into the kitchen to see if there was anything baked. Nope, rats. Jonathan was distracted from feeling disappointed for not having baked goods by Megan's hand on his boxers.

He grinned at her and wrapped his arms around her waist, pushing her back against the counter, lightly. "But you like seeing my shorts. I'm not wearing them outside or something. I'm not showing off your goods or anything."

Jonathan shook his bum a little and leaned in to kiss Megan's neck lightly. There was nothing like an afternoon home alone. Hopefully their pup didn't wake up and interrupt them.

"She's in a weird mood," Megan said with a shrug, thanking him for his sprinkle-offer with a kiss on his chin, "I'll make sure I replace them before the ex-stag-a-ganza."

Okay, she snorted at her own joke, lips pulling in to try and stop her laughter. She did that a lot---hell, she thought she was funny, but most days she forgot it was because she hung around seven years olds all day. They found her hilarious. Which she was. Most definitely.

Megan scrunched her face in a laugh, having no problem in grabbing his bum during his wiggle.

"Yes, well," she couldn't help but stretch her neck out, exposing more skin for Jonathan---"I'd also love to see you in those jeans I bought last week."

"What kind of weird mood requires sprinkles?" Jonathan asked, but not really all that interested in any sort of coherent answer. He teased her a little by kissing a spot on her neck and blowing on it.

"And yes, it shall be stag-riffic. But you'd have to let me go for me to get these tasteful, St. Patty's sprinkles," he said in a tone that conveyed his disinterest in actually going to find said stag-night-basket. "And I will wear those jeans on Monday. I could wear them when I take you out to dinner tonight, if you want."

She was about to respond with 'lady moods' but hearing that (let alone about his sister) might put him off, so Megan just shrugged and continued to let Jonathan flirt and kiss (really, there was never a really good reason to make him stop. Unless someone showed up at the door. Or if there were tests to be graded. Or if they were watching Eddie---), hands leaving their comfortable spot on his bum to slid up his front and gently drape her arms over his shoulders.

"Well, the sprinkle situation seemed dire, but she's got an auror to send off on those types of serious situations," Megan responded with a feigned sympathetic pout. But at the idea of going out to dinner it quickly changed into a wide smile, and she caught Jonathan in a sound kiss. "You will look so cute."

Jonathan grinned at her, he knew that the idea of dinner would get her smiling. They didn't go out a whole lot, but it was still kind of early and it seemed like a nice treat for the both of them. Jonathan tucked his head into her neck and smiled some more, wrapping his arms a little tighter. He just stayed there hugging her for a moment, because it was little slices of time like this that made the bad days (not that they had all that many, but) easier.

He pulled back a little to whisper in her ear, "If I take you to dinner and wear these jeans, does that mean I have to put out?"
