The jewelry issue didn't take too long to sort out, and she was quite excited to finally see him and get the evening started and--yes. With one last touch up to her hair, she made her way out to the living room and smiled.
"Thomas, they're gorgeous!" she said excitedly, taking the flowers in one hand before returning the kiss, probably a bit more than she should have but--well, she was excited to see him. "Thank you," she said with a small smile. "D'you mind if I put them in water real quick? I'd hate for them to wilt before I can really enjoy them." She started walking toward the kitchen, on a mission to get out a vase and get everything set up.
"Oh! While I'm thinking of it, I brought you back something from Thailand!" She said as she played around a bit with how the flowers set in the vase. She turned to the table and picked up the small box that was sitting there. "It's not much but they made me think of you, and there was no way I could just
not get them," she explained as she handed him the box of four
Thai cupcakes.
