LALA~
Mira was so happy for Bianca she could cry. Well, she had already cried, multiple times, but it was all for her best friend and her happy day in her life where everything had finally come together to a nice neat white bow! It was very-- she was happy! How could you not feel emotional about that? Happy! And nothing else!
Letting out an exhausted sigh as she fell into her seat (happily!), Mira let her mind wander as little as possible. There was no time for thinking about how this time last year she had hoped to be here, or how about everyone else in the wedding party except her was married, and she had dumbly not brought a date because who would want to deal with them and her responsibilities as maid of honor.
The only logical solution was to become completely smashed and hope these pathetic thoughts would vanish and not rear to life in an embarrassingly public way. But even that was not working, and she simply found herself having to go to the bathroom more than humanly normal. At least she didn't have a date to notice. Though unsurprisingly, true to his form, Rhys had made an off-handed comment about it to the table, which only earned him backhanded verbal slap later.
What else could she do? This smile of hers had been plastered on her face for so long that it felt like her mouth was permanently misshapen forever. At least no one was near her; with that observation Mira slumped in her seat and crossed her arms over her chest. She could have a moment, couldn't she?
