Estella smiled, even though her friend looked ready to hex her with her eyes. Well, all right then. Estella had sat through many Odette dramatics and tantrums, and while there was often a very good reason for them, there were also times that her friend was overreacting. Estella hoped that this was one of those times, though it seemed like a fruitless hope because it seemed that Odette had been staying in the room for quite some time. What could Noah have possibly done to keep Odette away like this? He seemed more irritated by it all than anything, which made it seem like it was Odette's fault, but really!

Though Estella had caught sight of that article about Odette and Seth Wadcock. She knew that it had to be made up, that Odette would never, ever EVER do a thing like that with Wadcock of all people, but Noah had seemed mad enough---

"Anna was so good in ballet today," Estella said, deciding to use guilt as a way to break through Odette's hard exterior. There was nothing easier to use than a cute baby in a little pink tutu trying to spin around without falling.
