Richard House : Quidditch Healer ([info]brickhouse) wrote in [info]valesco,
When she touched his arm, Rich glanced to see the fret look on her face and his own worried expression softened to concede as he mumbled a quick apology under his breath. He hadn't meant to upset her or make such a fuss over a little hex on the arm. It'd caught him off guard was all. Granted, he should've expected something of the sort. She was duelist and she was going to take injuries. Getting nervy over every wound was going to make him batty. Not that he could really help himself. Rich cared an awful lot for Delilah already, but he didn't want it to become a problem. This was just the first date. He needed to calm down.

A smile twitched on Rich's lips as he pulled his hands out of his pockets and the hand of the arm she wasn't holding came up to grasp her fingers gently. He then took her hand and clasped it in both of his.

"Of course we'll do it all," he replied as he squeezed her hand. "Food and shows and drinks and games and prizes and rides and should be a right fantastic day," he told her in excitement before giving her a little tug as he started off toward the fair.
