Scarlett eyed the tea as if it may contain an explosive liquid. Why had he ordered something she didn’t ask for? Did he think that he could subdue her slight annoyance with a drink? She could consider the tea as interest on the food he’d ruined for her...wIth that settled, Scarlett accepted Seth’s offer and held them to her chest. Her lips twisted at his question and she wondered what she should say. No, she was really here to annoy her captain in a childish fashion because he was a brute! As much as Scarlett disliked Bagman, she wouldn’t let another player from another team know that there was inner conflict...other than her captain’s less than savory public conversations with females.
“The question should be, are you ready?” she decided with, unwilling to voice her concern over her team’s performance. The Wasps had slipped into the playoffs seemingly undetected and while their in-game flying had been spectacular, it seemed like something was always going wrong and costing them the win. Scarlett's save percentage was very high and she really was flying faster than she'd ever flown, but it still didn't feel like enough, especially when it seemed like the game was over the second the Wasps held the momentum.
Scarlett flipped her hair over her shoulder, determined to stay confident even with the Wasps' lack of wins this playoffs. It would surely be something to get their first victory against the highest scoring team in the league.
