Seth could not believe it was New Year's Eve again. Already. How had a year gone by. A year with out a girlfriend. A year without sex. He downed his drink at that thought.
He really needed to find someone to attended these events with other than Michal. Not that he was bad company, but he was bad company. Seth didn't blame him though, he would disappear in a second had he an actual date. Not that Seth didn't have a plan. He did and it was quite simple. Find someone by midnight to kiss, then hope that is would end this depressingly long dry spell he was going through. New Year's was good for that. Case in point, last New Year's Eve.
Too bad that it nearing midnight and he had yet to find someone suitable. Every one was taken, or just a bad idea, or a worse idea. The wizarding world was just too small. Just when he though he would be ringing nineteen eighty four solo, Seth saw her. Just in time, it was still midnight, fireworks were still going off, how perfect would it be to just go and kiss her. How could he not. She was standing right there. It was midnight, and she was also alone.
In seconds, he had closed the small gap between them. "Happy New Year's" he said simply before leaning down and kissing her, his fingers lacing into her hair.
