MEOW
Glenda had, surprisingly, enjoyed herself through the night. At first, the prospect of attending a New Year's Eve party only after to be whisked away mere hours to Istanbul for an entire month seemed a bit ridiculous, but now that she was here, she felt almost....
happy. The location was stunning, her friends (Vinny) were in attendance, and she actually felt at
ease with leaving Tristan with Molly and Arthur while she was away. It was good, Tristan needed to spend time with his family, other people than her. It did make her sad to think of how long she would have to go without seeing her son, but at least... there was this night to make herself forget her sadness concerning that just a little bit.
After a rather rousing conversation with Octavius about just how wonderful this party was, Glenda moved on into the crowd. Was she... mingling? The thought was entirely too surprising to think, for when was the last time that had happened? Openly and happily talking to strangers? Perhaps subconsciously she was preparing for her month-long hosting duties in Istanbul as a WWN corespondent. Nonetheless, by the stoke of midnight, Glenda found herself practically bouncing in the crowd, clapping her hands together with each number count down with wide eyes above. 1984 would be a
good year, she suddenly decided, as she clapped in awe at the fireworks display.
And then, as if in a different mindset, she felt the utmost need to kiss someone. But not just anyone---
him, he who was suddenly in her line of view, staring at her. Thoughtlessly, Glenda slipped through the few steps it took to reach him, and then effortlessly rose up on her toes. She closed her eyes to kiss him soundly, her hands resting on the sides of his face.
