Delilah Jane Spinnet ([info]takeyoudown) wrote in [info]valesco,
Nora
Delilah frowned at the crowd surrounding her. She was under the impression this was a small gathering and that she would get to spend time with Charlie outside the Danny's careful watch. This was not a small gathering, or even remotely close to it and she had lost Charlie within minutes of arriving. Luckily she was able to snag a spot on the couch (who kept a couch on a roof?) as her ankle still twinged if she stood on it too long.

She sipped on her drink thoroughly unimpressed with everything, wondering when exactly she stopped finding parties fun. She had thought that this was just what she needed to get herself out of her current funk, but really it just made her feel worse. She certainly wasn't drunk enough for this sort of party. Her mouth twisted as her gaze landed on a couple making out in the middle of the make shift dance floor. So that's what that looked like from the outside when you were sober. Lovely.

She sighed when she felt the cushion next to her dip with the weight of someone joining her on the couch. Feeling that her face clearly expressed she was not in the mood for company, Delilah really didn't understand why people kept trying to sit next to her. She ought to just leave, but that would require tracking Charlie down and letting him know she was going. And the effort that would take wasn't even worth it. She rested her face on her hand taking another sip of her watered down drink, not even bothering to look to see who it was. Mostly likely another drunk quidditch rookie. "Seats taken, try elsewhere."
