Ally
Graeme wasn't entirely sure what he had been thinking when he had written to Ally, telling her that he thought that they should talk. He had been rather ominous about the whole thing, seeing how the suggestion seemed to have come out of the blue, though the truth of the matter was that he had wanted to talk to her for quite a few months now. He just couldn't seem to find the right time to slip away from the shop without raising Giada's suspicions on where he was going. He didn't like lying to his wife, but he knew that he sure as hell couldn't tell her that he was going to her sister's house after everything that had happened.

Well, her half-sister, apparently. The idea of it all was still mind boggling, though he knew it had to be a million times harder on Giada. Still, Graeme was a man who didn't like conflict, and he wanted the two women to at least be on speaking terms again. Family meant a lot to the young wizard, and while he didn't have a blood connection to Patrick, Ally, or their spouses, he still felt a bond with them. Not only that, but they were aunt and uncle to their son, and were soon to have a niece on the way, and didn't want them asking questions about why Mommy didn't speak to Aunt Ally anymore.

Ally had said a lot of things she shouldn't have to Giada the last time they had been in the same room, but he couldn't deal with the fact that Giada was hiding the fact that she was pregnant from her brother and sister - the former because she thought he might tell the latter. It was all a hot mess, and he was going to do whatever he could in order to at least try to fix it. It was becoming more and more obvious over time that neither of the witches were going to make an attempt, and he knew intervening was a dangerous endeavor, but he couldn't sit back and watch them drift further and further apart.

He really did have the best of intentions in mind as he stood in front of the Davies' doorstep, a box of assorted cookies nestled under his arm. He thought they might make a nice peace offering, to show that while he was upset with Ally for doing what she did, he didn't have any qualms with her directly. His free hand lifted to knock at the door, stepping back in order to run that same hand through his hair, getting it out of his face. He didn't understand how he had gone through all of Hogwarts with it hanging into his eyes, though that definitely hadn't been the stupidest decision he had made while in school. He shifted his weight, suddenly feeling anxious as he waited for the tiny witch to open the door.

Giada was going to kill him for this... He just hoped that his death would at least reunite the two sisters. There had to be a silver lining somewhere.

Allyson stood on the other side of the door debating on whether or not she should actually open it. Why did Graeme even want to talk to her. He wasn't involved in this and Ally wasn't quite sure she was ready to actually put effort into rebuilding any sort of relationship with her sister. It had been months since their fight, and since her talk with her brother. She was just finally feeling like herself again in her own home.

With the kids down for a nap, now would be the best time to talk to him. Even if she didn't want to. Ally barely wanted to admit she was wrong to herself and she couldn't bring herself to even talk to her sister. This conversation was doomed before it started, but she couldn't leave him standing out there after clearly telling him that she was home.

Sighing in defeat she pulled the door open. "Hello," she greeted evenly stepping aside to allow her brother-in-law to pass by.

When the door opened, Graeme looked up from the spot on the ground he had been staring at, his bright blue eyes meeting Ally's. He offered her a smirk, and while it was slightly forced, he was happy to see her after such a long stretch of time. The whole situation was uncomfortable, to say the least, so it was hard to be overly enthusiastic.

"Hey", he offered in return, stepping passed her into the house, waiting for her to shut the door and turn to face him. There was a lull of awkward silence before Graeme snapped to his senses and pulled the box out from under his other arm, holding them out to her. "I uh, I picked these up. I don't remember what kind you liked, so I just had them put everything in the box." He shrugged one of his shoulders, and then scratched at the back of his neck.

"Sam's at work, I take it?"
