"Rude," Scarlett snipped, crossing her arms and turning down the aisle. She had no time for men, and no desire for them either. Her one and only stand this past New Year's had been something out of a fantasy and it had left her with pretty high expectations that she most certainly felt like couldn't be quelled. Scarlett chose to ignore the rumors that the fireworks at the event may have been jinxed, as she liked having one worry-free, magical night to herself.
At any rate, there was no room to be dating during the season, and she couldn't understand those women who could. She supposed marriage was one thing, because there wasn't that worry of keeping the other person interested anymore, but dating? There came all these---things. Things that she didn't have time for, or feel the need to stress herself out with.
"I don't have men coming traipsing in and out of my flat, no," she said in a vain attempt to cover up her lackluster love life. Scarlett picked at a Slytherin pennant hanging from the wall, running her fingers down the side, "And I don't have time for that sort of nonsense, I'm performing terribly as is."
