"For the love of---" Larkin let out an unwelcoming hiss at Seth once he appeared beside her. Couldn't he see she was very busy at the moment? Of course he knew, he'd been trailing her for the past ten minutes, she thought tartly. Following her through the maze-- he was right, at least, picking someone of her expertise shadow, because she quite enjoyed puzzles and was very good at them, but now was really not the time. There was a prize at stake, she must get through to the end of this maze first!

Seth Wadcock, always with the worst timing.

"I'm in a race against Penrose." Larkin waved her hand idly at Seth, momentarily focusing on the ground before shaking that idea off. No, it wasn't worn enough to indicate the more travelled path. "I can't with whatever it is you want me to---"

She hadn't looked at Seth until that moment, but when she did, his outfit (or lack there of) had been enough to stop her in her tracks. Her jaw dropped, and something of a bubbly giggle escaped her lips. It eventually turned into a proper laugh, and unable to help herself, she rested her wand on her hip and turned to stare at Seth fully.

"Why is-- how did you--- what is this?" Larkin mustered, letting her free hand press against his bare chest to experience (his bare bicep) just how exactly he had managed to charm the water.
