Charlie wasn't particularly sure if he cared about good sportsmanship. He was not enjoying himself watch the Arrows celebrate their victory, and wondered if that made him a bad person. Everyone else seemed to be putting on a good face, but his seemingly perpetual frown could not be wiped from his face. Perhaps it was his back injury that was keeping him from enjoying what he could from the night, but the public obligation was doing nothing but irritate him.

"How long do you reckon I have to stay?" he asked his sister, who he was surprised to find not attached to the hip of Matt Summerby. When Kendall had gone around looking for a girl to hook his mate up with, Charlie had not thought that suggesting his sister would have turned into this lovesick madness. Sure, he'd had a good feeling the two would get along, but holy hell. They were like a rainbow had collided with a big bucket of glitter and then been poured over your head. Madness.

He huffed and grimaced, hating that he had to sit in a particular way or else he'd be sore all night. Couldn't he have gotten a healer's note to get out of this?
