Charlotte's smile grew at the sound of her name. She spent the appropriate time during the summer of sixth year properly moping over the loss of her boyfriend, but she returned to school determined to not let it effect her any more. She had pushed Jake Bexley out of her mind right until this moment.
Standing here in front of him now reminded her just why it took a whole summer to do so though. Reaching up she carefully adjusted his mask. There, that helped. She did have a date after all, and Jake and his distracting face would keep her here far too long if she allowed it.
"Better now that all my hard work isn't being wasted. I work for the WWN now. Just like I said I would." She wasn't sure what to say to him. They hadn't spoken since they had broken up. She hadn't a clue what he had been up to these past few years.
"What about you?" she asked pulling at a loose thread on the cuff of his robes. "Enjoying the party? Bring a pretty date?"
