Jeremiah hadn't known that Mattie was going to be at Hogsmeade until he had heard her singing. He had only come to do some promotional photos for the world cup, though he hadn't minded as much as some would have. He certainly wasn't bitterly single, Jeremiah was quite content to wander the streets alone nibbling on the chocolate that was being passed about.
That didn't mean he was going to pass up an opportunity to talk to Mattie though. He had been such a mess in school when it came to her. Then he wouldn't have even attempted to talk to her alone on valentine's day surrounded by hearts and glitter. He didn't think would have been able to get past hello.
"I hope you have a quill ready to do autographs," Jeremiah said a grin on his face as he hovered just in front of the bench where Mattie was sitting. "Keep singing like that and you'll have a queue of wizards trying to get your attention."
