This had been a horrible, horrible idea.

"No, no, that's quite all right," Therese said, trying to as gently as possible get her hair out of the hag's grip. Yes, a hag had her long, spindly fingers curled into her hair after she had marveled at how shiny it was. Therese's lips pressed tightly together as she held back a yelp, and she stared up at the ceiling of the little shop to try and gather some strength. She had been given a discount on the bottles she required and in her short-lived happiness had stepped within arms length of the crooked nosed woman behind the counter.

"You could sell this for quite the fortune, my pretty," the hag said with a crackle in her voice. With her free hand, she pointed her finger, tapping Therese's nose with a cracked nail. "And just how attached are you to your eyes?"

The eyes in question widened in shock and Therese ignored the pain she was in and quickly pulled herself out of the hag's grasp. Backing away quickly, she threw a few more sickles onto the counter and let out a few incomprehensible apologies and excuses for having to leave so quickly and suddenly! Therese put her hands up and continued out the store, eyes staying locked on the hag even after the bell of the door opening rang and her heels hit the cobblestone of the pavement. The door swung shut as if insulted by her escape and Therese managed a quick breath of relief. She would never venture into Knockturn Alley again! She would rather her hair fall out and have to wear a bonnet every day of her life before she took one step further into---

It felt like she'd been hit by a train. Therese somehow managed to stay upright, mostly due to the fact that her hands were tangled up in the robes of person who had just barreled into her. Or had she tripped them up? Everything was spinning right now, she couldn't tell.

"Excuse---sorry?" she managed, attempting to get a better grip to keep herself standing.
