Panic seized her once she realized he was not simply helping her right herself. Therese stiffened under the man's arm and she looked up with great alarm in her eyes. This was absolutely the worst idea she'd ever had! No amazingly effective hair product was worth the stress her heart had been put under in the last fifteen minutes. She'd been accosted by a greedy hag, escaped her grasp, and accosted once again by a--
--peculiarly handsome street rat.
"Er..." Therese stammered, admittedly thrown off guard once again by how good-looking he was. Yet another unexpected twist of her adventure into Knockturn. She planted her feet into the ground in an attempt to keep him from pulling her into some dark corner, feeling as if any more of a scene might cause even more trouble than she was already in. The gnomes in question were truly grotesque and Therese searched for a response to the foul little statues.
"The one pleasuring itself could certainly add to your garden's atmosphere," she let out quickly, hand waving toward the vulgar statue.
She noticed his quick, concerned glance over his shoulder and soon shouts could be heard. A thief was on the loose? Has anyone seen--ah. Ah! Those voices however, sounded much scarier than that of the man with his arm around her...and it probably would do her no good to attempt to point out his location as he had his arm around her...Therese flushed in anxiety. If this was the thief they were looking for, she had to stay on his good sign, and that meant helping him to not get caught.
This was the worst idea she'd ever had.
"Your hair is a mess," she said in a sweet voice, and managing to rely on some Slytherin survival skills she played a bit with his hair, covering his eyes and tugging his collar up. She would have to scrub her hands later after touching his robes.
"Whatever am I going to do with you?" Therese said with a pointed stare.
