Frank!
Doubled over on a couch that hadn't been sat on in months, Emmeline tried to organize her thoughts. She'd dropped her journal on the floor a few minutes ago, so she had no idea what the Order was going to do; all she knew was that Frank was coming, so he'd probably be the first wave of things.

How the fuck had this happened? It had all started with just wanting a normal night, as normal as---she'd wanted things to be nice, nice and calm as could be this was not...this was not...this was not nice. This was not the nice night she had planned for herself and Remus, this was bad. This was bad, this was bad, this was so bad and all she wanted to do was cry but there were kids.

Kids everywhere! Holy fucking---they were all asleep now, and they were all so scared and some tried to run so she had to put up wards and it was so sad, so---so bad and she didn't know and

Brain, completely fried. Her brain was frazzled and gone, she'd decided. Gooone.

Emmeline still hadn't told him how many kids there actually were. Well, he knew that a good amount of had gone missing, but the actual details, better yet how many were in Remus' house he would soon find out. It was sad, chilling even to think that--- they were just children. Children that had no clue what was really going on in the world and here they were, right in the middle of everything. Something heavy set in Frank's stomach as he walked up the hill to the house quickly, having no problem seeing anything. The moon was very bright tonight.

Okay, okay. He wasn't going to get anywhere half crazed and--- angry. Taking a deep breath, and trying to fight off the fact that this whole outside setting was becoming eerier by the minute, Frank tried his best to clear his mind before reaching for the door. He roughed it open with another deep breath, letting the bright moonlight light pour into the first room. It only took a few seconds for his eyes to adjust, and----

"Emmeline."

Closing the door with a snap, he ushered himself over to her, thankful to see that there were no little bodies for him to step over. Frank stood in front of her, watching for a few moments before begining to fumble for something in his cloak pocket.

"Alice brought--- I have food."

Her head shot up, already jumpy and it took all her energy to not run over to Frank and throw her arms around him and cry about everything. Emmeline just lightly bit at her tongue and nodded, staying a bit hunched over, eyes still worried. Frank's presence helped, it helped a lot, but Emmeline couldn't move from her spot.

"Right, good," she said, looking across the living room at the mantle. She couldn't tell if Remus had left any pictures of his family up, but she didn't think she could take looking at pictures of his mother, of his father, of Remus as a child. No, she couldn't look at anything remotely nice at the moment because it make react badly with all the bad and she'd blow up.

"They...are...upstairs," Emmeline said slowly, deliberately. "Asleep, all asleep."

Unergh, her face was completely white. All the color had left her face totally, and even in this light Frank could tell Emmeline's eyes were swollen with exhaustion. What had she been doing leaving school, visiting Remus no less. It was the full moon tonight, why had Remus even consider let her coming to him, let alone (did she even know?)---- anger began to bubble in the pit of his stomach, despising this situation more and more by the minute. This should have never happened, this whole thing. Not that finding these kids weren't a priority, but what the hell was Remus thinking?

Trying to suppress his anger toward his friend, Frank nodded expertly in response to Emmeline. Everything would have to be dealt with latter. Well, somethings, not everything, but. The first priority was Emmeline, then the kids, and then kicking Remus' ass.

"Are you okay? Here," Frank started, pulling out a wrapped sandwich (how, Alice had achieved making it and putting it in his pocket so quickly, he would never know) and handing it to her. "Eat that. Are there wards up? The Order's coming up with a plan right now to explain how you found all the kids without anything funny." As he paced in front of Emmeline, it occurred to Frank that he had never actually been here before. Huh. "How big is this place? Do you want water?" Even though he was very keen to know what had actually happened, Frank knew he had to wait on that story.

She unwrapped the sandwich slowly, contemplating Frank's questions. In her flurry of running around and consoling the kids and trying to set things up (which really had been a half hour before she'd been able to contact the Order, now that she thought about) had she done wards...?

"Oh," she said, as if the thought just hit her, quite hard, "Yes---and Sirius had said he'd put them up too, over the summer. I felt them when I came in and just---did them again, mostly, I think."

How big was the place? The questions were rolling in slowly in her usually rapid paced mind, and Emmeline sat back, looking utterly confused. She'd only been here once before, months back and she'd just found bedrooms and soft places to lie the kids in just now---and why wasn't Frank yelling? Maybe she should avoid the thought for now, but as it entered her mind, she became more and more wary.

"Two stories---not big, not really, not...not too big."

He kept nodding as he paced, trying to keep focused. Everything was secure, the kids would be fine for a while, Emmeline was actually eating.... alright. With a flick of his wrist, the nearest light went on in from the corner of the room. Frank blinked quickly for a few seconds, adjusting to the sudden light filling the room. Okay, okay. Finally, Frank turned back to his cousin again to watch her.

Okay.

Oh, he was going to kill Remus.

"Good," he said, coming to a stop to stand a few feet away, and in front of her. "Are you hurt?" Frank started suddenly, as if he had forgotten to ask. Which, truthfully, he had because when he had walked in she looked fine, so that had gone to the back of his mind. But, now it was front and center. Remus' house, with Remus and Greyback....

"Did Greyback..... or Remus...?"

"Remus wouldn't hurt me," Emmeline shot back quickly, unsure if she had known that Frank knew about Remus being a werewolf. Apparently he did, for how long Emmeline had no idea, but how dare he think---didn't they say that--"Remus was the one that stood up to Greyback to help me get out of there, Remus was---he was willing to--to deal with the maniac, so--so don't think that---"

She wasn't sure what made her angrier, the fact that Frank could believe that her boyfriend would hurt her or that he'd lumped the two werewolves together as if that---just because---Emmeline felt her face grow red and a part of her was warning her that she probably wasn't in the right state to be arguing or to get bent out of shape over. Her fingers continued to slowly (though her pace was quickening) shred apart the sandwich and Emmeline looked down at the ground.

"I'm fine."

His eyes pulled together tightly for a few moments, and he took a deep breath before thinking about what he was going to say. Though, that all went to hell as his mouth opened without his brain's permission and began to spit out words.

"You know I didn't mean it like that," Frank spat back quickly, crossing his arms over his chest as his forehead formed into a frown. And it wasn't like--- how was he supposed to know what had actually happened? It wasn't exactly like Emmeline was willingly giving up information, or better yet even let the Order know what was fully going on and had happened. His mouth formed into a hard frown. If it had been at the right time, and all three of them had been in the room... just because Remus was her boyfriend didn't mean he exactly knew that when he was transformed.

"Don't destroy that, eat it," Frank continued in a low tone as he watched her slowly pull apart the food. He shook his head slightly, not liking this whole thing at all. "And--- good. Fine, because you're going back to Hogwarts in the morning anyway."

"Then how did you---I'm not hungry, I'm bloody--" Emmeline threw her hands up, shaking a finger at Frank immediately, "Ohhh, no, no--no, I am not going back to---not yet, Frank! How can I---!"

She'd jumped to her feet, hands gesticulating wildly at how ludicrous the idea was. She knew she was going to get into trouble with Dumbledore, Emmeline was quite sure of that, but there was no way she'd be able to act like nothing had happened, and she had to see Remus tomorrow, she had no idea if tonight's events would have affected the transformation, if it was worse than usual---

"No, I'm not going back, not tomorrow," Emmeline resisted the urge to cross her arms stubbornly; she had to keep some sort of leverage, and if she began to whine like a child then Frank would stomp all over her.

"Oh yes, yes yes you are," Frank replied almost immediately, brow forming into a lower frown. Surely, Emmeline hadn't thought that she could've gotten into all this trouble scotch-free? Oh, no no. She was going right back to Hogwarts as soon as possible.

"You're not even supposed to be here now! Look, we don't know what they are going to do now that Greyback is pissed off; no one can know what you're here," Frank tried his best to keep a calm, unbiased voice, but it was hard. Whether Emmeline liked being there or not, Hogwarts was the safest place for her now, and he was not going to go through another 'Iceland' incident anytime soon. Or better yet, ever again. So. Frank didn't care how mad she got at him, he would sling her on his back and carry her all the way to Scotland if he had to.

"You don't just get to prance around, leaving school whenever you feel like it and not get in trouble for it." Ah. Emmeline and Frank almost hardly ever fought.

"I wasn't just----I never," Emmeline could feel the blood boiling in her cheeks; more out of embarrassment than anything, because if Frank thought. She never went out by herself, only with Elphias and Dedalus when there was stuff for the Order to do, and this---she hadn't been planning on staying for more than two hours, it was bloody study hall time. And she knew, she---

She put up one hand, wiping at her eyes with the other as she turned away from Frank, intending to go check on the kids before the rest of the Order arrived, "I'll go to the Order house, but I'm not going back to Hogwarts, and---and you can't make me."

Emmeline would deal with the consequences herself. She'd take the verbal punishment that was just waiting for her from Dumbledore, she knew it wasn't the smartest of things, but---well she'd done it, and that was all she could do, now. Deal with it.

Frank's face screwed up tight, fully disapproving Emmeline's answer completely. No, he technically could because technically speaking he was much stronger than her and had a bit more authority (in his mind, at least) when it came to things like this because really they were the only family that they really had. He just wanted her safe, and Hogwarts was safe, despite all the stupid school shit. Frank sighed, and slowly moved to follow Emmeline. No no, he would not settle on anything but Hogwarts, it was the only place that---

the Order house wouldn't be that bad either, he supposed. Just for a day or so. And if they had someone there with her while she was there, then, Frank supposed that would be the best option for the time being (well, only one because it didn't look like Emmeline wanted to go back to school ever).

"Fine," Frank stated finally. "But on Wednesday, you're going right back to school." He felt a bit bad for treating her this way but--- okay, you just don't do that. Leave and then, werewolves with children and the full moon; he was just irate with.... everything.
