WHO: Evan Rosier & Cecilia Hooke
WHERE: Evan's Apartment
WHAT: They have to meet sooner or later, no?
WHEN: June '78

Cecilia could hardly believe that in all the years she had known and been best friends with Kalista Rosier, that she had never been to her brother's apartment, or even met the man (all she knew was he was supposed to be pretty much a hottie--gossip did circulate around, after all). But as much as she did want to meet him, today was not the day. She was actually coming over to see Kalista herself, to hang out for a bit, then maybe go out afterwards (there was a new club in this part of town, it was supposed to be a simply fabulous scene)... which would be much better a possibility if Kalista had actually been ready to go anywhere when she came to the door. No, instead, the girl that stood on the other side of the threshold was still a bit ruffled, only half done-up. Before she could think about it, Cecilia was ushered in, had a kiss 'hello' on the cheek given, and told to go make herself at home while Kalista finished getting dressed. "Oka--" But her friend was gone before Cecilia could get the whole word out, and after a few moments of standing in confused silence, she decided that the living room was probably the best place to wait. If she could find it, sweet Circe--the apartment was impressive, that was for sure. But Cecilia had lived in a mansion all her life, it wasn't too terribly long before she wandered into a sitting room--plush, very classy, she thought. The older Rosier had good taste.

Tired. That was really the only way that one could describe Evan Rosier at the current moment. He wanted nothing more than to go home, and sleep. He knew that Kalista would be gone from the apartment by the time he got there, and that Antonin had gone...somewhere. He hadn't bothered to ask when he had left early that morning, before he went to work. Even Kal didn't know, but she said she had a bad feeling that he had gone to see Emily...or...Emmeline, or something. He wasn't paying attention. Getting to his apartment, he opened the door, and shoved his way inside before he closed it behind him, walking through the hallway into the kitchen. He began to look through his mail, his back to the sitting room...which would explain why he didn't notice anyone was in his apartment. He sighed heavily, and tossed everything that was junk in the garbage before he turned around, taking a few steps through the living room, before he stopped and looked to the side at the girl who was sitting on his couch. A brow rose, and he continued to walk, talking as he moved towards the fireplace. "Care to explain who you are, and why you're here...?" He placed the mail on the mantle and then turned around to face her again, taking steps closer to her, waiting for an answer.

Cecilia arched her brow at him--she knew instantly that this had to be Evan. What, he was a boy in the apartment that obviously wasn't Antonin, and his resemblance to Kalista was immediately striking. He was cute, she noted with an inward smile... even if rather intimidating. "Cecilia. Cecilia Hooke. And I'm here waiting for Kalista to get ready, so that we can leave," she said, looking as unaffected as possible, regarding him as indifferently as she could. It was hard, seeing as he was like, absolutely freaking hot. Holy crap. "I hope that's not a problem... Mister Rosier, is it?"

"Huh..." He said as a hand rose up to loosen his tie, now moving towards the chair that was across from the couch she was sitting on. He sat on the edge, leaning foreward with his elbows resting on his legs. "Evan." He corrected, before going on, his head tilting a bit to the side. "Now, why would it be a problem?" He took this moment to get a better look at the girl. As exhausted as he was, he probably would have minded a whole hell of a lot more if she wasn't as pretty as she was. Even though Kalista was supposed to be gone before he got home, he wasn't all that pissed off that she wasn't. He had heard her mention Cecilia before, but had never actually met the girl before.

The side of Cecilia's lips quirked up into a small smile and she re-crossed her legs, sitting up a little straighter at the confirmation of his identity. Ah, see, the family resemblance did not fail him at all. "It's good to meet you at last," she said. The way she spoke could be taken as completely polite and cordial, or she could be said to sound just a dash flirty--it was just enough that he would be unable to avoid it, but also unable to tell if it had been there at all. "Kalista has had many good things to say about you, but I regret never having the opportunity of making your accquaintance until now."

He gave a single nod of agreement. "Feeling's mutual." Evan Rosier of all people could tell when someone was flirting with him. The change in posture, the rather sophisticated way of talking...but he didn't want to read too far into it. She was Kallie's best friend, and he had a feeling that even if he was interested, she'd be off limits...but that didn't mean he couldn't talk to her, right? Her mention of all the 'good things' his sister had said about him made him smirk a little bit. "As do I." He probably would have added more, if he could think of anything more to add. But, because he didn't, he moved on. Looking into the next room, he furrowed his brows. "Speaking of my darling sister, where the bloody hell is she?"

"Ah, she said she was going back into her room to finish cleaning up." Celia's eyes followed Evan's through the threshold into the other room before returning to him. "She was only about half dressed and her hair was still a bit of a mess when she came to the door. I don't know what in Merlin's name she could have been doing that she couldn't be ready yet." It really was inconvenient that Kalista was being so unpunctual, but only in the matter that she disliked waiting for things. It was not, however, inconvenient in the respect that she was left alone with her brother. For that part, there was really nothing to complain about. "We're going to Leningrad's tonight--haven't been out for any proper adult fun since my birthday and all. Have you ever been?"

Her explination made him shake his head, sighing heavily. "She's never ready for anything on time. Should have guessed." Rising to his feet, he headed back into the kitchen for a moment, still listening to what she was saying. He furrowed his brows at the mention of the place they were going to before it clicked. "Ah. Yeah, I've been there many a time." At this point, he had gotten out a bottle of vodka, and two glasses. Placing them down on the glass table that was inbetween the chair and the table. He took his seat again and began opening the frozen bottle of clear liquid. "Not exactly a place I go to, unless I've got absolutely nothing better to do with my time. Can't stand the fucking music..." He was done pouring now, and taking his glass he leaned back in his seat, about to take a sip. "But then again, who really goes there for the music, anyway?" With that he took a sip of his drink. Really, anyone who went to Leningrad's was either looking to get drunk, or shagged...sometimes both.

Cecilia smirked when the vodka came out. Oh, this was definitely her kind of person. Cecilia would hardly let it be known to more than a few, trusted people, but even though she had just come of legal age, she was hardly an amateur at holding her liquor. Actually, she was very good at holding it... and she liked to hold it quite a lot. Hence Leningrad's being her destination of choice for tonight--although the getting shagged definitely wasn't too bad of a thing, either. She took the glass and sipped it slowly, in the most dignified manner she could manage. Oh, it was good too--vodka never slid down your throat that smoothly unless it was expensive. "Ah yes, I have definitely heard stories about the music. But risking having the authorities called on you is half the fun, I'm sure. At least when you've thrown back a few extra shots of their homemade vodkas."

The mention of the alcohol that would be served at this place made him only slightly uneasy, only because, well...it was Kal who was going to be throwing down the shots of vodka. Now, he didn't hover over her, but he was a little bit protective of her. "Well, I'm sure you two will have your fun. Just do me a favor, hm? Make sure she gets home in one piece. Last thing I need is an owl in the morning, telling me she was kept in a holding cell all night." He was about to take another sip heard Kal's door open. ALMOST READY! The door shut again. "Looks like you're stuck with me for a little while longer. I apologise for the fact that I'm not very good company. You seem to have caught me on a bad night." He now took that sip he had planned to take before Kalista shouted.

"I'll be sure to keep an extra close eye on her," she told him reassuringly, despite the fact that it was probably going to end up being the other way around. Although, something was compelling her, just a little, to think about actually holding back some and watching out for Kalista. Something was giving her an itching desire to win Evan's trust, and it couldn't all be his looks. Huh. Cecilia finished off her drink and set the glass back down on the table, not intending upon taking another if it was offered. It wouldn't do to look like the alcoholic she was when she was putting on her deeply memorized 'lady' act. "I wouldn't worry about it, Evan. On the contrary, I'm finding you to be completely tolerable company." She added a smirk at the end to tell him she was joking about the 'tolerable' part. He was much better than tolerable, even if it was that pretty face helping him along most of the way.

"Thanks. I appreciate it." He said, even though he wasn't sure if she was going to actually follow through with it. He hoped she would, but he couldn't count on one 17 year old to watch another. And he sure as hell wasn't chaperoning them. They were old enough, and Kal would murder him in his sleep if he tagged along. With another sip, he too finished off his drink and placed his glass back down on the table, running his free hand through his blonde hair to get it out of his face. Her choice of words made him give another smirk. "Completely tolerable..." he repeated. "I can live with that." After that, they spent a few seconds in silence, just kind of looking at eachother. If he thought she was stunning before, now that he was really looking at her she was-...

Fuck, why did she have to be friends with Kal? Eventually, his greyish blue eyes focused in on a random spot on the floor before being brought back to meet her own, oddly hypnotizing gaze. "So you and Kal have been friends for quite some time, I presume?" Maybe if he kept talking about how they were best friends, he'd be less attracted to her. Maybe. Hopefully. Fuck.

Cecilia felt a rush of triumph soar through her at noticing Evan's stare and then sudden evasion of hers. Ohhh Kalista was going to absolutely kill her if she ever found out that she was getting a very steady crush on her older brother, but holy hell, could you blame her? The guy was gorgeous. And mature and pureblooded and with good taste and... haha, yeah, she should stop before she really got into trouble with this. Kali was definitely going to have it out for her if she kept thinking about Evan like that. Was he really off-limits, though, just being her brother? Well--okay, so she knew that of course he was, but wasn't there some kind of clause in there for the really hot older brothers? There totally should have been. She smiled sweetly at Evan as his voice brought her out of her thoughts. "Oh yes, since practically first year. We hit it off instantly, when we were paired up in Potions in the first class of the year and we've been close ever since. She's a wonderful friend to have, it would happen that she's one of the few like-minded people I know in the school."

So, he was at school for her for 5 years, in the same house, but they were never introduced. Very strange. But, understandable. Evan wasn't really all that social when he was in Hogwarts. And, then there was that whole mess that happened in his 5th year, and...it wasn't all thay surprising. He didn't know a lot of people from Hogwarts. But, the people he met, he always remembered. He was very good with names, and remembered faces very well, also. "Well, if you and Kalista are as like-minded as you say you are, I suppose that you and I will get along just fine..." Not that they weren't getting along now, but this really wasn't a good time to tell. But, first impressions are rather important. And she was making one hell of a first impression. If he didn't know her age, he would have guessed she was much older than she actually was. At least, he was going off of how most girls her age acted. Annoying as all sin.

"Well, I think the way we're getting along now would be more indicative of how well we'll get on--but I suppose a like-mindedness to yourself would help things along as well," she said. She had leaned casually back into the couch, just beginning to become completely comfortable with the conversation between them (while shoving to the back of her mind that whole Kali's brother thing for a moment), when a door opened from the other room. Ah, of course Kalista would pick now to come meandering out. Cecilia did her very best to mask her annoyance at her friend's untimely arrival under a grin."Ready at last, Kali?"

Evan merely smirked, giving another general nod of his head, about to say something more before his sisters door opened. He looked over his shoulder to see Kalista finally emerge from her room, and step into the same room that they were in. Rising to his feet, he grabbed the empty glasses, and the bottle of Vodka, bringing them back into the kitchen so that the two could finally get going. Kal, of course, having no idea that the two had been talking for such a long time looked between the two of them. "Oh, shite! Uh, yeah, Evan this is Cecilia....I'm sure you two introduced yourselves though, so why I'm wasting more time, I'll never know." Walking quickly over to Evan they exchanged a kiss on the cheek before turning back to Cecilia, who looked annoyed. She just figured it was because she was taking so long. Evan watched the two for a moment, and leaned back on the kitchen counter, his hands slipping into his pockets. "Have a good time." He looked over to the brunette, now. "It was a pleasure to finally meet you." His sister rolled her eyes, grabbing CeCe's wrist. "Okay, yeah, love you, see you later!" She said, pulling her friend along so they could finally get going.
