When Andromeda decided if she wanted to chase him off or snog him, she'd be sure and let Ted's mind know. The moment that she'd actually moved to pull him in close she'd realized that her plan was definitely going to backfire in the worst of ways, because instead of wanting to blow him off and shatter any sort of hope he might've had of something happening ... she was looking at those admittedly lovely eyes of his.
While he spoke, she worried on her lip. It helped her think, if nothing else. Her fingers curved tighter into his tie but she didn't tug him any farther forward -- she knew he'd be falling atop her if she did. Instead, she fixed her gaze on Ted again, letting her voice come out in a slow purr. "I'm certain, Ted, that you are right. But if you'll excuse me." She felt rapidly as if she were losing her nerve -- she flattened her palm against his chest and planned to push him back again, but found herself giving only a feeble shove instead of the forceful thrust she'd had in mind.
